The Grain Store was a working farm silo. Now it's a two-person stay with a mezzanine bedroom, open-plan living, floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides, and a log burner that makes the whole place feel like the right place to be when the weather turns.

  • The Grain Store is round, which is immediately apparent and consistently delightful. The floor-to-ceiling windows follow the curve of the original structure, making it feel like the countryside is part of the design.

    Upstairs, the mezzanine bedroom has a king-sized bed positioned to catch the early light across the fields. All windows have full curtains and battery-powered blackout blinds - you choose when the morning starts.

    Downstairs, the living area centres on a log burner beside a bespoke curved kitchen with a fluted Belfast sink, brass hardware, and everything needed for proper cooking. An antique dining table for two sits beside the kitchen. Underfloor heating runs throughout, making the whole space warm from the ground up.

    The shower room is finished with walk-in rainfall.

    The Grain Store suits guests who respond to considered design and like a space that has some architecture to it. Quietly extraordinary. Self-contained. Complete.

  • The Grain Store is set within the farm, with Molly's Cabin and other stays nearby. A reasonable level of quiet after midnight is appreciated.

    The farm is on the East Midlands Airport flightpath - occasional aircraft noise is worth knowing about in advance.

    A pizza oven can be rented for use during your stay.

    For commercial photography or videography, a media rate applies.

    Pets are welcome. £35 per stay, up to two well-behaved dogs.
